The best coffee near Macs
Very controversial subject this. Dont send me any hate mail this is just my view, ok?
The best coffee on the coast I think is at Ettalong. The Lords of Pour Cafe. The coffee is really excellent, made by a barista with a suitable range of tatoos (seems to be essential for a top coffee engineer). As a bonus the muffins straight out of the oven are awesome, I had a turkish delight muffin, OMG. Rating 8
Just over the road is the Coast Cafe serving Campos coffee which is pretty good. Rating 7
Hardys Bay Bistro also serves Campos, baristas are a bit hit and miss. Rating 7
Looloos Coffee Warehouse in the Kincumber "industrial" area and Coffee Shack at Macs are both great places with happy vibes. Coffee is ok. Rating 6.5
Coffee in Terrigal, well there are plenty of spots to get a coffee but nowhere sadly that really excels in my humble view. Try Island Time Espresso Bar in the group of restaurants and bars facing the beach opposite the car park. Rating 7
Avoca has a couple of goodies, Becker and Co on the main road just past the shopping area. Rating 7 Just out of town along Avoca Dve on the corner of The Round Dve is a little cafe called Like Minds, great atmosphere and good coffee. Rating 7.5
